Welcome to Wild Child Tie-Dyes! We’re home to bright, color-fast tie-dyed clothing and accessories for every member of your family, including one of the largest selections of infant and children’s styles anywhere! We do the dying and our all of our clothing is sweat-shop free. Whenever possible, we use organic cotton, too.
We're a family business: Jodi is the tie-dyeing mom who has been playing with color on clothes since 1988, originally selling her work at Grateful Dead shows and on the streets of her home town of Amherst, Massachusetts. Bruce, husband and dad, is the faithful computer assistant (not to mention emotional support). Adin, our 7 year old son, is our frequent model as well as inspiration. He's made a few shirts of his own now, too. Nora, 4, already has very strong opinions about clothes, favoring purple dresses with hearts these days. She can be found looking cute in our clothes at fairs and festivals and modeling here on this site! Wild Child has now grown to the point where we now do about 25 shows each year and have now added this website for your convenience.
We don't have everything up here —if you’ve visited us at one of our shows, you may not see every style and design that you've seen there. However, if you know what you’re looking for, just ask! It might take a little longer, but if it’s a design you’ve seen in our booth, or maybe one you've seen somewhere else but can describe really well or email us a photo, we can probably accommodate you. We do try to please!
Custom work is always available if we can find the blanks for what you're looking for. Wholesale is also available IF we have the time. We're kind of busy with the kids and the retail end of things, but it can never hurt to ask.
If you want to place an order, you can do it through our website or by e-mail or by phone. You can also bid on a few of our more unusual one-of-a kind pieces on ebay.
